Mirko Antico, known professionally as MKA, is an Italian DJ and producer renowned for his deep, driving take on minimal and dark techno. Hailing from Atessa a quiet town nestled in the Abruzzo region Mirko developed a unique sonic identity shaped by both his rural roots and a profound passion for cutting-edge electronic music.  His artistic journey was sparked by a pivotal experience: attending the legendary Minus Contakt event in Rome, curated by none other than Richie Hawtin. That night ignited a lifelong pursuit of sonic innovation, leading Mirko from the dancefloor to the decks, and eventually, into the studio.  Mirko’s productions have earned the attention and support of some of the most respected names in the global techno scene, including Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini, and Maceo Plex. Known for crafting hypnotic, meticulously layered tracks, he continues to refine his sound with relentless dedication.  Currently based in Italy, Mirko spends his days immersed in the studio, committed to sonic research and constant evolution. His mission: to push the boundaries of minimal techno while staying true to its underground essence.
