Meet Recordings Announces the Debut Techno Release from Shintarø Kanie - Annihilate

Meet Recordings proudly presents the debut release from one of the newest members of our label family and a rising force in the Japanese underground techno scene Shintarø Kanie.

Shintarø first connected with the Meet Recordings community through his guest appearance on the Meet Podcast, and from the first moment, his sound spoke to us raw, hypnotic, and uncompromising. Since October/November, a close creative exchange has grown between us, naturally leading to his first official release on the label: Annihilate.

This release delivers three relentless techno cuts “Annihilate,” “Headless Mode,” and “Out to Take.” Each track is built around driving rhythm, industrial-leaning textures, and deep hypnotic flow. This is pure techno energy: stripped-back, physical, dark, and intensely focused on the dance floor. These tracks demand a heavy sound system the kind of music that comes alive in the fog, under strobe, deep in the night.
